The Palestinian Resistance group stated that it had communicated its position to mediators, asserting its readiness to pursue a comprehensive agreement, including a full prisoner exchange deal, only if Israel ceases its aggression against Palestinians in Gaza.

Hamas emphasized its prior flexibility and cooperation with mediators' efforts, leading to the acceptance of a ceasefire proposal on May 6. However, it accused Israel of exploiting these negotiations to continue its aggression and massacres against Palestinians. The group highlighted Israel's invasion of Rafah and occupation of the Rafah crossing as examples of actions undermining mediation efforts.

In a firm stance, Hamas and Palestinian factions declared their refusal to continue negotiations amidst ongoing aggression, killings, siege, starvation, and genocide against the Palestinian people. (ILKHA)
