The data reveals that Türkiye acquired a substantial 55 tons and 564 kilograms of gold between January and April. This surge brings the country's total gold reserves to a hefty 781 tons and 957 kilograms.

This accumulation marks a continuation of Türkiye's focus on gold reserves. The nation's holdings stood at 542 tons at the close of 2022 and climbed to 726 tons by the end of 2023. The latest increase indicates an ongoing strategy to bolster its gold reserves. (ILKHA)
