The attacks targeted the Nuseirat, Bureij, and Jabalia refugee camps, as well as the towns and cities of Beit Lahia, Rafah, and Gaza City. Local sources reported that Journalist Abdullah Al-Najjar was among those killed after an Israeli airstrike in Jabalia, northern Gaza.
In the Nuseirat refugee camp, three civilians were killed and others wounded when an Israeli airstrike hit a house. Additionally, several civilians were killed and injured when Israeli warplanes targeted a house belonging to the Shahin family in Gaza City.
Heavy artillery shelling in Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and near Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza Strip caused further civilian casualties. Israeli warplanes also conducted airstrikes on the Bureij refugee camp and on neighborhoods in central, eastern, and northern Rafah.
Earlier in the day, Israeli warplanes launched a series of airstrikes on various areas in the northern Gaza Strip.
Since the beginning of the Israeli onslaught on Gaza on October 7, local health authorities report at least 35,386 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 79,366 individuals injured. The majority of the victims are women and children. (ILKHA)
