According to the ministry, 500 health workers have been killed since the conflict erupted on October 7, highlighting the perilous conditions faced by medical personnel on the frontlines.
Among the casualties, the ministry reported that 138 nurses have lost their lives during the attacks, emphasizing the urgent need for the international community to intervene and ensure the protection of medical personnel and health institutions in Gaza.
Additionally, the health ministry revealed the harrowing reality of the past 24 hours, during which the Israeli occupation army committed eight massacres in various areas of the Gaza Strip. These attacks resulted in the deaths of at least 63 civilians and injuries to over 114 others. Many victims remain trapped under rubble or stranded on roads due to the relentless bombardments.
The overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression has now reached 35,034 martyrs, with the number of wounded surging to 78,755 people.
