In response to these developments, Ankara, the capital city of Türkiye, witnessed a demonstration of solidarity with the Palestinian cause.

Led by the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform, a coalition of concerned citizens, activists, and organizations, residents of Ankara gathered outside the American Embassy to protest the ongoing violence perpetrated by the Zionist regime in Palestine. The demonstration, held under the banner ‘No to New Genocides! No to Massacres in Rafah!’ aimed to draw attention to the plight of Palestinians and to condemn the atrocities committed by the Israeli regime.

In a show of unity and determination, participants raised their voices against the brutalities inflicted upon the Palestinian people, particularly in the besieged enclave of Rafah. They called for an immediate end to the violence and demanded justice for the victims of the ongoing conflict.

Ramazan Yılmaz, President of the Genc Safa Association and spokesperson for the Ankara Palestine Solidarity Platform, delivered a passionate speech on behalf of the organizers:

"We stand here today to denounce the despicable acts of violence perpetrated by the Zionist regime in Palestine. The Palestinian people have suffered far too long under occupation, enduring displacement, oppression, and systematic injustice for over 75 years. It is our moral duty to speak out against these atrocities and demand accountability for the perpetrators."

Yılmaz condemned the recent escalation of violence by the Israeli regime, accusing them of preparing for a massacre in Rafah and obstructing humanitarian aid to Gaza. "The international community must not turn a blind eye to the suffering of the Palestinian people. We call on Muslim leaders and governments to take decisive action and support the Palestinian cause. We cannot stand idly by while innocent civilians are ruthlessly killed and their basic rights violated."

The demonstration concluded with a commitment to continue advocating for the rights of the Palestinian people and to raise awareness about their struggle. Participants pledged to mobilize support for Palestine through educational initiatives, grassroots activism, and international solidarity efforts.

The protest in Ankara serves as a reminder of the global solidarity with Palestine and underscores the urgent need for a peaceful resolution to the conflict based on justice, equality, and respect for human rights. (ILKHA)
