During a weekly pro-Palestine rally in Sana’a on Friday, Ansarullah military spokesman Yehya Sariee announced the decision, stating it would take effect immediately as part of the group's fourth phase of military escalation.

Sariee warned of targeting ships dealing with Israeli ports if a military operation occurs in Rafah, southern Gaza, vowing to obstruct their passage through the Red Sea, Arabian Sea, and Mediterranean Sea, regardless of their destinations.

"We will continue our military escalation until Israel halts its war and lifts the blockade on Gaza," Sariee emphasized.

Yemen's armed forces and the Ansarullah group have been launching anti-ship missiles and drones since last November, targeting vessels allegedly linked to Israel in the Red Sea, in solidarity with Palestinians enduring Israeli attacks for nearly seven months. (ILKHA)
