The event, themed "Jihad Leader Prophet Muhammad," at Newroz Park in Diyarbakır, a Kurdish-majority city in southeastern Türkiye.
Following recitations from the Quran and poems dedicated to the Prophet, Dr. Nawaf Takruri, President of the Palestinian Union of Scholars, will deliver opening remarks. Menaf Adıyaman will then share a message from the Prophet's Lovers Foundation on the occasion of Mawlid al-Nabi.
The program features a keynote address by Prof. Dr. Ali Muhyiddin Al-Karadaği, President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars, who traveled internationally to participate in the event. Mehmet Göktaş, Honorary President of the Prophet's Lovers Foundation, will also address the gathering. The program will conclude with a prayer.
Strict security measures are in place, with attendees required to pass through police checkpoints before entering the event area. Organizers have designated separate entry gates for men and women to ensure a smooth flow and prevent overcrowding.
For the comfort of the large audience, a giant screen has been installed alongside mobile base stations to enhance cellular service.
The event also features a charity bazaar organized by the Prophet's Lovers Foundation. Additionally, a health tent with medical personnel and an ambulance is on-site to address any health concerns. A dedicated tent has also been set up to assist with any missing children. (ILKHA)
