According to Saree, the Yemeni naval forces successfully targeted a British oil vessel in the Red Sea using naval missiles, resulting in a direct hit. Additionally, an American MQ9 drone was shot down above the Saada Governorate by Yemeni armed forces while undertaking hostile missions.

Earlier reports from the British Maritime Trading Organization indicated that a vessel off the coast of Yemen in the Red Sea was struck by missiles. The organization detailed two separate attacks, with the first causing an explosion near the vessel, felt by its crew, followed by a second attack involving two missiles resulting in vessel damage.

The Yemeni Armed Forces' recent operations come in solidarity with Palestine, as announced by Saree approximately two weeks ago. In response to ongoing aggression against Yemen and in support of Palestinians in Gaza, Yemen executed four operations in the Gulf of Aden.

These operations targeted vessels linked to Israeli and American interests, including the MSC DARWIN, MSC GINA, and the American ship MAERSK YORKTOWN. Yemeni forces also engaged a US warship in the Gulf of Aden, deploying drones alongside naval missiles in the operation.

The actions underscore Yemen's determination to disrupt maritime activities in the region and send a clear message to aggressors, particularly in light of recent tensions surrounding Palestinian solidarity efforts. (ILKHA)
