The operation, which was carried out with a combination of missiles and drones, achieved its objectives, according to Brigadier General Yahya Saree, the YAF spokesperson.

The YAF’s missile forces also launched ballistic and cruise missiles at Israeli targets in occupied Umm Al-Rashrash (Eilat), located in the southern part of occupied Palestine. This move underscores the YAF’s commitment to supporting the Palestinian people.

Additionally, the YAF announced its intention to enforce a blockade on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea, the Arabian Sea, and the Indian Ocean. The objective is to continue military operations against Israeli targets in occupied Palestine until a ceasefire is achieved in Gaza and the siege on the Strip is lifted.

This development follows Ansar Allah leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi’s confirmation that efforts are underway to strengthen Yemen’s reach toward the Indian Ocean. The goal is to disrupt Israeli-affiliated ships’ movements along the Cape of Good Hope route and toward the Red Sea.

The YAF previously targeted American and Israeli-affiliated vessels in the region, including a US warship and the MSC Veracruz cargo ship.

The Yemeni military vowed to continue its operations in defense of Yemen and in support of the Palestinians. (ILKHA)
