This development brings the total number of recovered bodies to 392 since Israeli occupation forces departed the Complex on April 7.

During a press conference held in Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, Yamen Abu Suleiman, Director of Civil Defense in Khan Yunis, disclosed disturbing details about the findings. He stated that some of the bodies exhibited signs of torture, while others suggested possible field executions and instances of victims being buried alive.

Suleiman expressed shock at the discovery of children's bodies in the mass graves, highlighting the brutality of the situation. He emphasized that the bodies were buried by Israeli occupation forces in plastic bags at a depth of 3 meters, accelerating their decomposition.

Furthermore, Muhammad Al-Mughair, Director of the Civil Defense Supply and Equipment Department in Gaza, presented a video clip during the conference showing bodies with visible signs of torture, including being shackled with plastic restraints.

The European Union has called for a comprehensive and independent investigation into the mass graves following the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza. The international community is urged to intervene and halt the ongoing Israeli aggression against the people of Gaza, while allowing the entry of human rights and international media teams to expose the atrocities committed.

Since October 7, 2023, Israel's devastating war on Gaza has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties, predominantly children and women, alongside massive destruction and famine. Palestinian and UN data depict a harrowing reality of loss and suffering inflicted upon the civilian population. (ILKHA)
