The announcement was made during a weekly press briefing meeting on the activities of the Ministry of National Defence, led by Rear Admiral Zeki Aktürk, Press and Public Relations Advisor.

Highlighting the effectiveness of Turkish operations, Aktürk noted that two PKK terrorists surrendered to a Turkish Border Post in Habur on April 21 after fleeing from their shelters in northern Iraq.

In addition to combatting terrorism, Turkish forces have been vigilant in safeguarding the nation's borders. Over the past week, 284 individuals, including six members of terrorist organizations, were apprehended attempting to cross the border illegally.
