Turkish Treasury Minister reiterates commitment to economic stability

Turkish Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek has reaffirmed his dedication to enhancing the country's economic programme, announcing plans to introduce new measures in the near future.

In a social media update, Şimşek recounted his involvement in various international forums, including the G20, IMF, and World Bank meetings, alongside investor engagements in the United States.

Describing the discussions as "highly productive", Şimşek noted his interactions with foreign ministers, officials from international organisations and corporations, investors, business leaders, and think tanks.

The minister underscored the significance of the 14th Turkey Investment Conference in New York, where he engaged with investors, business representatives, and credit rating agencies.

"We have witnessed strong confidence in our country and our programme throughout these meetings," Şimşek affirmed.

He concluded with a reaffirmation of his commitment to the economic programme, emphasizing a forthcoming strengthening of strategies with patience, determination, and perseverance. (ILKHA)
