The event took place in front of the Hazrat Abu Bakar Siddique Mosque in the Bağcılar neighborhood. Cengiz Aydın, on behalf of the PLF, delivered a press release condemning the ongoing Israeli genocide in Gaza.
Starting his speech with the verse of Holy Quran that says "Those who do wrong will see what fate befalls them." (Şuara/227), Aydın said: "Greetings to the heroic sons and daughters of resistance. Greetings to the grandchildren of Saladin and Abdulhamid Khan. Greetings to the conscientious people who did not remain silent in the face of Zionist oppression in Gaza and stood on the side of the oppressed. Greetings to our sensitive people who filled these squares by hearing the cries of the oppressed. Greetings to those who did not remain silent in the face of oppression and stood up to it."
"An Oppression Rarely Seen in World History"
"Valuable members of the press, our esteemed people, my precious brothers and sisters; May the peace, mercy and blessings of Allah be upon you! The people of Gaza, who are facing an oppression rarely seen in world history, continue to be a test for the whole world. Words are no longer enough to express the atrocities taking place in Gaza."
Aydın said: "There, a people are being subjected to genocide; they are being left to die by being deprived of food, medicine, water, food and all human needs. Every day, a defenseless and civilian population of children, women, elderly, and those who are hungry, martyred, are waiting for the opening of a humanitarian corridor and the conscience owners to take action. But unfortunately, we warn those who continue their commercial, military and diplomatic relations with the Zionists by providing the flow of goods to the Zionists for a temporary worldly gain, with the warning of our Lord, who is the one who punishes severely. In the 113th verse of the Hud Surah, our Sublime Lord commands; 'Do not incline to the oppressors, do not stand by the side of the oppressors; then the fire will touch you (you will burn in hell). You have no friends other than Allah. Then (you cannot get help from Him)!' We call on you to cut off all your relations with the Zionists by heeding this decree."
"The cries of our Gazan brothers shake the throne of heaven," Aydın said. "Due to Zionist attacks, Gaza has been turned into a living cemetery under rubble. There, our brothers are waiting to be rescued from under the rubble of their destroyed settlements and for the opening of a humanitarian corridor. The cries of over a million of our oppressed Gazan brothers shake the throne of heaven."
"The Zionists, who have committed the crime of genocide with the backing of world imperialism, are working together with their Western accomplices to establish a new world order based on oppression. In this new world order, while on the one hand, the people of Gaza are being tried to be exterminated, on the other hand, the conscience of humanity is also being tried to be destroyed. The Zionist Nazi gang, which tramples on the respect for the holy places under occupation and does not recognize any rules, regulations or measures, tramples on all human virtues. The Islamic countries and other states, especially those that remain insensitive and indifferent to all these atrocities, are being integrated into the system that is being tried to be created."
"The Zionist Regime Will Not Be Satisfied with the Settlements It Occupies"
Aydın continued his speech as follows:
"The Zionist terror regime, in this new world order that is structured with oppression, is advancing step by step towards its goal of the promised land between the Nile and the Euphrates. The Zionist occupation regime, which is insatiable for blood, tears and oppression, will not be satisfied with the settlements it occupies in Palestine, especially Jerusalem and Gaza. Rest assured that if Gaza falls today, Jordan will fall tomorrow, Egypt the day after, and Iraq, Syria and Turkey another day. Remaining indifferent to the atrocities taking place in Gaza by remaining indifferent to the domino effect that the Zionist occupation gang has created so far poses a danger to the countries that are fighting for survival. Indifference to this great danger and the existence of Zionist Israel is leading to the destruction of regional security, peace and stability. Remaining silent in the face of the oppression is as sinful as being a partner in the oppression. Let us not forget that the Zionists have long-term plans to occupy all the countries neighboring Palestine, one by one, starting with Turkey. Ignoring these plans of the Zionists not only means preparing a bad future for future generations, but also endangering independence. There is no difference between watching the occupation of Gaza, Jerusalem and Palestine and watching the occupation of Turkey and other neighboring countries of Palestine. In this regard, Turkey and other neighboring countries of Palestine, especially Turkey, must take serious measures against the Zionist terror regime, which is a threat element."
"It is time to unite our strength against the Zionist gang"
"The terrorist regime of Israel, which is a threat, has been launching verbal and physical attacks against the countries that stand up for Gaza for more than 6 months," said Aydın. "The Zionist terrorist regime, which disregards international law, attacks neighboring countries of Palestine and embassies in these countries, while the West stands by Israel to the end. Countries that respond to the Zionist regime with self-defense are condemned by Western countries, while the mind-boggling statements of Islamic countries will benefit the Zionists. It is time to unite our strength, power, and unity against the Zionist gang. It is not a time of conflict, but a time of alliance. We stand behind every action taken against the Zionists and will continue to do so. Helping the Zionists in their attacks on Gaza, sending products under the name of trade, will create a boomerang effect and gradually prepare the ground for the occupation of these countries in the future."
Aydın stated that their demands from all conscientious states, especially Türkiye, and international actors are as follows:
"Cut off your commercial, military, diplomatic relations with the Zionists. Take concrete steps towards ending the attacks on the people of Gaza and opening a humanitarian corridor for the people of Gaza. The ceasefire call made by HAMAS to the world public opinion, states and international actors should find a response, we demand serious steps to be taken on this issue. All displaced Gazan brothers and sisters should be allowed to return unconditionally to their regions."
"Salute to the Aqsa Flood operation"
Aydın concluded his remarks as follows:
"'Do you not fight on behalf of those who have been made weak, men, women, and children, who say, 'Our Lord, take us out of this country whose people are oppressors, and appoint for us from You a protector, and appoint for us from You a helper?' (Surah An-Nisa, verse 75.)
As the Prophet's Lovers, we shout out once again at the highest voice and say; with our lives, our blood, our property, and our children, we are by the side of our first qibla, Masjid al-Aqsa, and our Muslim brothers. We are by the side of and support every legitimate action leading to the freedom of Palestine and Masjid al-Aqsa. We are ready to make any sacrifice that falls on us on this path.
