In a statement released on Tuesday, Hamas accused the Israeli government of inciting settler groups to continue their violent and deadly attacks on West Bank villages and towns.
Hamas stated: "All this blood will not go in vain, but rather it will spark revenge and fire that will burn the occupation and its settler groups. Our people’s steadfastness and resolve cannot be undermined by the occupation’s massacres and oppression, whose attempts to suppress the resistance in the West Bank have failed."
The group also highlighted the organized and growing attacks by settler militias on Palestinian citizens and their property, including the use of live ammunition. They described these actions as a dangerous escalation that further exposes the brutality of the occupation, its thirst to shed more Palestinian blood, and its overwhelming desire to displace the Palestinian people from their land.
In related news, the Arab Parliament has denounced the recent settler violations and crimes that have escalated unprecedentedly in the West Bank under military protection. The Parliament has appealed to the international community and the UN Security Council to provide necessary protection for the Palestinian people.
They urged for urgent action to force the Israeli government to stop all its settlement activities, dismantle the armed settler militias in the West Bank, and immediately end its aggressive practices in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. (ILKHA)
