Kani referred to the recent attack on the Iranian diplomatic annex in Damascus on April 1 as a "strategic mistake" by the Zionists. He stated that this attack has provided legitimacy for a serious test of the military and defense capabilities of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The Deputy Foreign Minister cautioned that if the Zionists were rational, they should avoid repeating such strategic mistakes. He warned that any further aggression would be met with a "harder, faster, and more immediate blow."

Kani emphasized that the response time for any future aggression would not be measured in days or hours, but in seconds. He added that when the Islamic Republic of Iran decided to teach the Zionists a lesson to protect its interests and national security, it also had a plan for their next mischief.

He further warned that if the Zionists' mistake concerning the Iranian consulate warranted such a crushing retaliation, any malign intentions against Iranian soil would entail a much more vehement response.

This statement comes in the wake of the Israeli terrorist attack on Iran's consulate building in Syria on April 1, which led to the destruction of the entire building and the martyrdom and injury of the people inside it. In response, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps attacked targets in occupied Palestine with dozens of drones and missiles early on Sunday.

Seven military advisors from the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) were martyred following the Israeli attack on Iran's consulate in Damascus. The Iranian diplomat urged the Zionists to consider the consequences of their actions carefully. (ILKHA)
