While Israel has not officially claimed responsibility for the attack on an Iranian consulate in Syria, it is widely believed to have been involved. Israel has asserted its readiness to defend itself against any threats.

Addressing Iran directly, President Biden emphasized the United States' commitment to supporting and defending Israel. He warned Iran against any hostile actions, stating, "We are devoted to the defense of Israel. We will support Israel. We will help defend Israel, and Iran will not succeed."

Iran, a supporter of Hamas in Gaza and various proxy groups in the region, including Hezbollah in Lebanon, has been a key player in the ongoing conflict with Israel.

Hezbollah launched "dozens" of rockets from Lebanon toward Israel on Friday. The zionist forces confirmed the launch of around 40 missiles and two explosive drones. (ILKHA)
