In a statement issued on Saturday, the Movement reiterated its commitment to the position presented on March 14, which calls for a permanent ceasefire, withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza, return of displaced individuals to their homes, freedom of movement, relief and shelter provisions, and a serious prisoner exchange agreement.

The upcoming negotiations, scheduled to commence on Sunday, will involve delegations from the United States and Israel, along with Egyptian and Qatari mediators.

Key figures expected to participate include CIA Director William Burns, Mossad Head David Barnea, and negotiators from Egypt and Qatar.

According to reports, President Joe Biden has urged Egyptian and Qatari leaders to intensify pressure on Hamas to secure a deal with Israel, facilitating a temporary ceasefire in Gaza and the release of hostages. (ILKHA)
