The aid distribution took place in the villages of Bansko and Paperova, located in Ustrumca's mountainous region. Volunteers from European Orphan Hand shouldered the food parcels to ensure families living in makeshift tents and damaged houses received their supplies. This act of kindness brought smiles to the faces of these families during the holy month of Ramadan.
The families expressed their heartfelt thanks to both European Orphan Hand and the generous donors who made this aid distribution possible.
Speaking to ILKHA about the organization’s mission, Ömer Alkan, a volunteer with European Orphan emphasized their dedication to delivering aid from philanthropists to those in need, not only in the Balkans but across various regions of the world.
"As European Orphan Hand, we strive to meet the basic needs of the underprivileged in North Macedonia's Ustrumca city, specifically in the villages of Paperova and Bansko. We are immensely grateful to the İkra and İsra family for their contribution. May their generosity be rewarded abundantly. We urge other philanthropists to join our cause. Regardless of religion, language, or background, there are people suffering oppression, orphaned and in need everywhere. With your support, European Orphan Hand can continue to extend a helping hand to these vulnerable populations. The more aid we receive, the more people we can reach,” Alkan said. (ILKHA)
