The leaders discussed strengthening political, economic, and cultural relations between the two nations.

Raisi emphasized taking practical steps to boost cooperation, particularly in the energy sector. He expressed hope that this collaboration would benefit both countries and promote unity within the Islamic world.

The Iranian president also condemned the ongoing violence in Palestine. He called the actions of the "usurping Zionist regime" crimes against the Palestinian people and urged for decisive action from Islamic countries.

Raisi criticized continued support for Israel by the US and called for a complete severing of political and economic ties. He emphasized the importance of cooperation in delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and expressed Iran's willingness to contribute to such efforts.

Erdoğan congratulated Iran on its recent elections and reaffirmed Türkiye's commitment to following through on agreements between the two countries. (ILKHA)
