Reports of “vote transport,” where individuals from outside the province were reportedly brought in to cast their ballots, have ignited controversy.
The voting process began at 07:00 local time and will continue until 16:00. However, Yılmaz’s observations during election visits to schools revealed the presence of non-local voters, a situation he deems unacceptable. He called for immediate intervention by the authorities to rectify the issue.
“We strongly condemn this situation,” Yılmaz stated. “Allowing individuals from outside the province to vote undermines the integrity of the election process and threatens the will of the people. The authorities must act promptly to ensure fairness and transparency.”
Electoral irregularities can erode public trust and confidence in the administration and elected officials. Yılmaz emphasized the need for measures to uphold the integrity of the electoral process and restore faith in governance. (ILKHA)
