Zionist forces kidnap several Palestinians, settlers attack citizens and property

The zionist occupation forces (ZOF) kidnaped last night and at dawn Tuesday a number of Palestinian citizens in the West Bank, amid clashes with local youths and settler attacks.

According to local sources, the ZOF ransacked homes, assaulted citizens and kidnaped three young men during a raid in Dura town in southern al-Khalil.

The ZOF also stormed Beit Ummar town at dawn, while dozens of extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian citizens and homes near the illegal settlements of Karmei Tzur and Gush Etzion in the south and north of the town.

Settlers also attacked Palestinian vehicles at the entrance of Beit Ummar town and on the nearby bypass road.

Yesterday, a horde of extremist settlers escorted by soldiers attacked Palestinian homes and threw dirty stuff at them in Tel Rumeida neighborhood in the central area of al-Khalil City.

In Jenin, two young men were taken prisoners following violent ZOF raids on their homes in the city.

Israeli soldiers reportedly raided several homes and damaged some parked cars near the industrial zone junction in Jenin City.

Local sources said that soldiers assaulted citizens during a raid on the house of Saif an-Naji in al-Basatin neighborhood and threatened to kill him if he did not turn himself in.

On Monday evening, violent clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli forces in different villages in Jenin.

The Palestinian Prisoner Society in Tubas said that Israeli forces kidnaped a young man during his presence on the road of Judeida village in southern Jenin.

In Bethlehem, a Palestinian child was injured all over his body on Monday evening after a settler rammed his car into him in Kisan village.

A local source said that 13-year-old Mohamed Ghazal was riding his bicycle on the main road in the village when the settler hit him with his car. The kid was rushed to Beit Jala Hospital.

At dawn Tuesday, the ZOF stormed Beit Fajjar town in southern Bethlehem and kidnaped three young men from their homes.

In Nablus, the ZOF kidnaped last night one citizen after storming Beita town while randomly firing live ammunition, stun grenades and tear gas canisters.

Later at dawn, Israeli forces with a bulldozer stormed the eastern area of al-Quds street and Beit Furik checkpoint in Nablus, and raided homes in Balata refugee camp.

One young man reportedly suffered a bullet injury in his leg when Israeli soldiers opened fire at local youths during their raid in Balata camp.

In east Jerusalem, Israeli police officers stormed the Aqsa Mosque on Monday evening and forced Muslim worshipers to leave the Qibli prayer building.

Police officers and extremist settlers also attacked Muslim worshipers as they left the Aqsa Mosque following the nighttime Tarawih prayers.

Eyewitnesses said that a horde of settlers with the help of policemen savagely assaulted Muslim worshipers in Bab al-Khalil area outside the Aqsa Mosque, adding that the police kidnaped two Jerusalemite young men from the same area following the settler attack.

Meanwhile, violent clashes broke out on Monday evening between Jerusalemite young men and Israeli police forces at the Shuafat checkpoint in the northeast of the holy city. (ILKHA)
