Minawi accused the RSF of human rights abuses and violations of Sudanese sovereignty, citing attacks in Darfur, Gezira, and Khartoum.

These violations, according to Minawi, include sexual violence, attacks on religious sites, land seizures, and occupation of homes. He further condemned the disruption of humanitarian aid deliveries.

Minawi emphasized the critical state of the country and expressed disappointment over the lack of a peaceful resolution after ten months. He urged Sudanese citizens to resist the RSF alongside the SLM, calling the RSF's actions a violation by "foreigners."

This announcement follows a similar move by Minawi and other rebel leaders in November 2023, signifying a shift from neutrality to active opposition against the RSF. (ILKHA)
