Hamas condemns international silence amid humanitarian crisis at Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital

In a statement issued on Sunday, Hamas expressed its dismay over the silence of the international community in the face of the grave situation created by the Israeli military's assaults on Al-Shifa Hospital and its vicinity.

According to reports from Al-Ahed news network, Hamas condemned the horrifying atrocities committed by the Israeli occupiers, including executions and the destruction of homes, which have resulted in severe shortages of essential supplies such as food and water, as well as the displacement of Gaza residents for six consecutive days.

Despite these egregious acts reminiscent of Nazi-style brutality, Hamas lamented the absence of any meaningful reaction from United Nations agencies or international humanitarian organizations.

The movement called upon the Islamic and Arab world, as well as freedom-loving individuals worldwide and Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem, to exert maximum pressure on the occupiers and their supporters to halt the ongoing onslaught in Gaza.

Hamas reiterated its steadfast commitment to resistance against the occupation and reaffirmed the determination of both fighters and civilians to continue their struggle for liberation and the realization of their right to self-determination.

Notably, Al-Shifa Hospital and other medical facilities in Gaza have been among the primary targets of Israeli attacks since the regime initiated its genocidal war on the territory in early October. (ILKHA)
