Local sources have confirmed that Ameed Jaghoub, the victim, died as a result of a critical head injury he suffered eight months ago when Israeli occupation forces raided Beita town, located south of Nablus.
Jaghoub sustained the injury during violent clashes with Israeli forces in Beita town on August 21, 2023. The Israeli sniper fire left him with part of his skull missing and led to severe health complications.
His demise marks the twelfth Palestinian death within less than 48 hours at the hands of Israeli soldiers and settlers in the West Bank.
The incident underscores the ongoing tensions and violence in the region, further exacerbating the plight of Palestinians living under occupation. (ILKHA)
