Production reached 203,644 tonnes, a 1.4% rise compared to December 2023.
The report also highlighted a positive trend in chicken slaughter, with numbers rising by 5.9% year-on-year in January.
However, hen egg production saw a slight decline of 1.0% compared to the previous month, settling at 1.84 billion units.
Despite the small dip in egg production, January marked an overall positive start to the year for Turkey's poultry industry.
This is further emphasized by the significant increase in turkey meat production, which jumped by 33.3% year-on-year. (ILKHA)
