Local sources reported that thousands of Palestinians from Jerusalem and occupied territories managed to access the holy site, defying Israeli security measures imposed in the area.

Zionist occupation police intensified security measures in and around the Old City of Jerusalem, particularly at the Al-Aqsa Mosque, deploying thousands of forces in the streets.

Reports indicate that zionist authorities barred Palestinians from the West Bank from entering Jerusalem to attend prayers at Al-Aqsa Mosque during Ramadan.

In addition, zionist police obstructed the movement of Palestinian citizens within the Old City, conducting provocative searches and preventing some from accessing the Islamic holy site.

Furthermore, police officers blocked Muslim worshipers from entering the mosque through the al-Qatanin Gate. (ILKHA)
