4.9 magnitude earthquake strikes southwest Türkiye

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency, the quake occurred at 21:38 local time, with its epicenter recorded at 39.99306 degrees north latitude and 27.43083 degrees east longitude. The earthquake had a depth of 10.44 kilometers.

Residents in nearby provinces, including Istanbul, Bursa, Balıkesir, Tekirdağ, and Manisa, reported feeling the tremors.

As of now, there have been no reports of casualties or damages resulting from the earthquake. (ILKHA)
