Hamdan stated that U.S. support allows Israel to persist in "committing crimes" against Palestinians in Gaza, accusing the regime of maintaining a state of siege and hunger to suppress the population.

Hamdan also addressed ongoing ceasefire talks, revealing that Hamas had received an invitation to visit Cairo for negotiations. He expressed surprise at reports suggesting a Hamas delegation had been dispatched to submit the movement's response, emphasizing Hamas's commitment to achieving a resolution that meets the aspirations of the Palestinian people.

The upcoming round of negotiations is slated to take place in Cairo on Sunday and Monday, with Hamas emphasizing its determination to secure a satisfactory outcome for Palestinians.

The interview comes amidst heightened tensions following a retaliatory attack by Palestinian resistance forces on the Israeli regime on October 7. Subsequently, Israel initiated a widespread military campaign in Gaza, resulting in a tragic toll of over 30,000 fatalities and more than 7,000 injuries, predominantly among women and children.
