The forum serves as a platform for dialogue and collaboration on issues like climate change, migration, the ongoing war in Ukraine, and the recent conflict in Gaza.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan delivered a keynote address, lamenting the shortcomings of the current international order in tackling global crises. He specifically pointed to the lack of response to the recent violence in Gaza, calling it a testament to a system lacking "solidarity, justice, and trust."

Erdoğan emphasized the crucial role of diplomacy in resolving conflicts but stressed the need for a stronger presence on the ground to achieve lasting solutions. He underlined Türkiye's commitment to peaceful solutions while highlighting the country's efforts in building a robust diplomatic network, ranking third globally.

The theme of the forum, "Elevating Diplomacy Amidst Crises," underscores the pressing need for diplomatic approaches to navigate the intricate challenges confronting the world. Over the course of three days, attendees will delve into discussions covering a broad spectrum of issues, such as: tackling the environmental crisis and promoting international collaboration for sustainable development, seeking resolutions to global migration issues while safeguarding the rights and welfare of refugees and displaced individuals, exploring diplomatic pathways to de-escalate conflicts and facilitate peaceful resolutions, and assessing humanitarian conditions while addressing the underlying causes of conflicts, with a focus on advocating for sustainable peace agreements.

The forum extends beyond formal discussions, featuring exhibitions showcasing Türkiye's vision in various fields like art, energy, and defense. Additionally, the "Bulletproof Dreams: Gaza Children Painters Exhibition" sheds light on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza through the eyes of children.

President Erdoğan's address underscored Türkiye's commitment to playing an active role in addressing global challenges. He emphasized the importance of a "multidimensional and calm" approach, balancing diplomacy with the ability to take necessary measures to protect national interests.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum serves as a timely platform for international cooperation and dialogue. As the world grapples with complex and interconnected crises, fostering communication and collaboration among nations is crucial in finding sustainable solutions for a more peaceful and prosperous future.
