Kan'ani's remarks came on Sunday in response to the ongoing aggression by US and UK forces against Yemen. The latest attacks targeted various locations in Yemen, including the Nahdayn and Attan mountains south of the capital Sanaa, as well as military facilities north of the city. Reports indicate that airstrikes also hit a factory near the Technical Institute in Hay al-Nahda, causing a fire and significant damage.
Strongly condemning these attacks, the senior Iranian diplomat emphasized that such actions violate international law and undermine Yemen's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Kan'ani accused the US and UK of supporting Israeli war crimes in Gaza and criticized their disregard for moral principles and international norms.
Furthermore, Kan'ani highlighted Yemen's solidarity with Palestine in the face of Israeli aggression, noting that Yemeni Armed Forces have vowed to continue their resistance until Israel's offensives in Gaza cease. He also criticized the US and UK for forming a military coalition in support of Israel's actions against Yemen. (ILKHA)
