These migrants were reportedly pushed back by Greek authorities towards Turkish waters.

Coast guard teams were dispatched to the region upon receiving information about rubber boats carrying migrants off the coasts of Çanakkale, Muğla, and İzmir.

The rescued group included 21 children, highlighting the vulnerability of this population caught in maritime pushbacks.

Meanwhile, Turkish authorities apprehended 65 irregular migrants, including 42 children, across separate incidents in the Aegean Sea.

Following standard procedures, all migrants received assistance and were transferred to the relevant Provincial Directorate of Migration Management. (ILKHA)
