The latest casualty brings the total officially recognized deaths in the israeli occupation army since October 7, 2023, to 576.

According to Israeli media reports, the deceased sergeant was a fighter in the 932nd Battalion of the "Nahal" Brigade, while a fighter from the same battalion and a reserve fighter from the "Judea and Samaria 877" Brigade's 636th Information Battalion were also seriously injured in the northern Gaza confrontations. Additionally, a fighter from the "Shaked" Battalion of the "Givati" Brigade sustained serious injuries in the northern sector.

This announcement comes after the Israeli army previously admitted to the death of another soldier due to serious injuries sustained in a previous battle against Palestinian resistance in Khan Yunis, southern Gaza.

Despite the Israeli occupation army's efforts to control the publication of casualty numbers to conceal its losses, accurate data and recorded footage broadcast by Palestinian Resistance sources indicate that the actual losses incurred by the occupation are significantly higher than officially announced.

Meanwhile, violent confrontations have resumed between the Palestinian Resistance and occupation forces in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City. These clashes come amid ongoing israeli attempts to assert full control over the area, more than four months into the aggression. (ILKHA)
