A reporter for the Palestinian Information Center (PIC) said that the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) continued to attack different areas of Gaza, killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
According to local sources, several casualties were reported after the IOF carried out a sudden incursion into the Mawasi area in Khan Yunis. Several arrests were also reported during the attack.
The Israeli artillery also bombed the western areas of Khan Yunis Governorate.
At least two people were injured, one of them in critical condition, after Israeli warplanes bombed the vicinity of Moaz bin Jabal Mosque west of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Doctors Without Borders said on X that an Israeli strike on Mawasi killed at least two family members of its staff and wounded six people.
The charity said that it was horrified by the shelling of a shelter hosting its staff and their families.
It said ambulance teams were on site, with details of the strike still emerging.
Earlier, Professor Nasser Abu Al-Nour, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at the Islamic University of Gaza, was killed along with seven members of his family in an Israeli airstrike on a house in Rafah. (ILKHA)
