Reports from the ground revealed a grim scene, with approximately 40 civilians killed and many more injured in strikes on residential areas in Al-Zawayda, Deir al-Balah, and the Nusseirat refugee camp. Additionally, around 20 civilians lost their lives in Khan Yunis, while Israeli strikes claimed the lives of 13 civilians in Rafah, with numerous others wounded.
Israeli naval warships joined the assault, firing on the coast of Rafah alongside artillery barrages targeting southern and eastern parts of the city.
Gaza City also faced intense bombardment, with residential buildings in several neighborhoods, including Sheikh Radwan, Al-Nasr, Al-Zaytoun, Al-Rimal, and Al-Sabra, coming under fire. At least 10 civilians were reported killed in these attacks.
The Ministry of Health provided a preliminary toll of the ongoing aggression since October 7th, documenting a staggering 28,858 fatalities and 68,677 injuries, further highlighting the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Gaza.
