Speaking at a press conference on the Palestinian issue, Al-Shami emphasized that military actions in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea exclusively target Israeli, American, and British vessels.
He highlighted the US and Britain as major military forces in the Red Sea, posing a threat to international navigation to safeguard Israeli shipping.
Al-Shami disclosed intelligence indicating attempts by the UAE to recruit mercenaries to disrupt Yemen's position by targeting ships in the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.
Regarding support for Gaza, Al-Shami stated that attempts to intimidate or entice the Yemeni people have failed.
He further noted that the total number of American and British airstrikes and missile attacks on Yemen has reached 403, including 203 airstrikes.
Highlighting Yemeni Naval Forces' monitoring, Al-Shami mentioned the absence of Israeli ships in the Red Sea.
The spokesperson highlighted Yemen's measures to boycott American goods and products, along with companies supporting the "criminal Zionist entity." This includes banning the entry of 99 American goods, canceling 354 agencies, closing 12 companies and 23 branches, and eliminating 3,227 American and Zionist trademarks.
Al-Shami reiterated Yemen's legitimate right to respond to violations of its sovereignty using all available means and called for Arab and Islamic nations, as well as freedom-loving people worldwide, to initiate an economic boycott against the enemies of the nation. (ILKHA)
