The incident, the latest in a string of recent aviation accidents across the United States, has sparked concerns and prompted a full-scale investigation.

Authorities have confirmed no survivors were found at the crash site near Nipton, California.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) are jointly investigating the cause of the crash, which involved a Eurocopter EC 130 helicopter.

The cause of the accident remains unknown at this time.

This incident follows closely on the heels of two other deadly aviation accidents. On Friday afternoon, a small plane, having lost both engines, crashed into a vehicle on a Florida interstate during an emergency landing attempt, resulting in at least two fatalities.

Additionally, earlier in the week, five U.S. Marines lost their lives when a military helicopter crashed in the mountains near San Diego. (ILKHA)
