The tragic accident prompted a swift response, with numerous ambulances dispatched to the scene to provide urgent medical assistance to the injured.

As the injured were transported to hospitals for treatment, there are concerns that the death toll may rise given the critical condition of some victims.

Kahramanmaraş Governor Mükerrem Ünlüer visited the accident site and confirmed that five people had tragically lost their lives in the incident.

He also mentioned that the driver of the truck was among the injured and is currently receiving medical care.
