Yapıcıoğlu urges vigilance and unity in upcoming elections for Türkiye's future
Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu, the Chairman of HÜDA PAR and a candidate for deputy in Istanbul's 3rd Region on the Ak Party's list, is actively campaigning in his constituency.
Speaking at the "People's Gathering" in Istanbul, Yapıcıoğlu highlighted the importance of the upcoming May 14 elections.
He stressed the need to avoid being swayed by minor issues and allowing the return of the CHP mentality to power.
Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that such a scenario would have lasting consequences, particularly for our children who would not forgive us for it.
He emphasized that these elections are not ordinary; they involve not only choosing the President for the next five years but also electing Members of Parliament who will represent their respective provinces during that time.
Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that this election is about determining the direction and trajectory of our country, potentially shaping the course of the next century.
“Ultimately, it is up to the nation to decide which path to follow,” he noted.
"Our children will not forgive us if we let the CHP mentality back into power by getting angry at some small things," Yapıcıoğlu said.
He added: "Let's not allow the upcoming century to be a lost century. Let's not waste what has been accomplished in the past 20-30 years. If we don't want Türkiye to go back 50-60 years and if we want to prevent regression, it is crucial for us to act with sensitivity and make every effort possible. Nobody should abstain from going to the ballot box by saying, 'I had guests that day' or 'I had a headache.' If someone is unable to go and vote, we must definitely assist them in reaching the polling station. If necessary, cover their travel expenses and accompany them to the ballot box. If they lack means, let them inform us, and we will cover their expenses. Around you, if there are individuals whose minds are confused, whose thoughts are clouded, and who get caught up in minor issues, which may be valid objections."
Yapıcıoğlu urged everyone not to lose sight of the bigger picture and the future of the country.
He encouraged people to persuade those who get caught up in trivial matters and fail to recognize the larger scope.
With five days remaining until the elections, Yapıcıoğlu emphasized that making it a collective mission during this period can lead to success in shaping the country's path. (ILKHA)
