The Antonov An-28 aircraft, which went missing during a flight to the city of Tomsk, has been located from the air and there were survivors at the crash site.

“The previously missing plane has been found. The rescue crew reports that people are alive. It is unknown how healthy they are and in what condition,” the Siberian Aviation Search and Rescue Center said.

The Antonov An-28 aircraft had disappeared earlier on Friday in the Tomsk region in western Siberia. (ILKHA)
