Global coronavirus death toll reaches 3,8 million
At least 176,785,779 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China, and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, 2020, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus-related fatalities with 615,053 deaths, followed by Brazil with 487,476 deaths, India with 374,305 deaths, and Mexico with 230,148 deaths.
At least 160,848,623 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospitals worldwide. (ILKHA)
