Global death toll from coronavirus pandemic rises to 1,473,927
At least 63,589,977 people have so far tested positive for coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of coronavirus related fatalities with 274,332 deaths, followed by Brazil with 173,165 deaths, India with 137,659 deaths and Mexico with 105,940 deaths.
At least 43,985,243 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide. (ILKHA)
