A 6.6 magnitude earthquake hits Aegean region of Turkey
The 6.6 quake hit the Seferihisar district of Izmir province on Friday, Turkey’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on its website.
The earthquake occurred at around 2:51 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 37.8881 degrees north and a longitude of 26.7770 degrees east, and at a depth of 16.54 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings. (ILKHA)
