The 17th day of the sit-in protest outside HDP office in Diyarbakir continues with the participation of one more family.

Families, who staged a sit-in protest, accusing HDP [People's Democratic Party] kidnapped their children at different times to the rural areas controlled by the PKK, demand their children back.

Painful father Halit Altun, who joins sit-in protest from Muş province, said his son Muhsin, 24, was deceptively kidnapped in 2014 while studying Computer Engineering at Malatya Inönü University, and he had not heard from his child since that day.

"My child was kidnapped at the end of 2014. My child was studying Computer Engineering at Malatya Inönü University when he was kidnapped," father Altun said.

"We were waiting for him to finish school and get his diploma on Eid al-Adha. We got news from his friends that my child is missing.

I haven't searched anywhere since my son went missing. I spent all my money to find him. After all my search, I found his track in Kobane."

Father Altun noted that the HDP is responsible for the abduction of his child.

"I have a son who's a soldier now.  I'm both the father of a soldier and the father of a kid who was kidnapped to the mountains. I want the state to bring my son back alive. I'm also calling on HDP. They must send my child back to me as soon as possible. Otherwise, they know what will happen," father said.

"I want my child from the HDP," he said adding that the HDP is responsible for kidnapping his son.

"They are kidnapping only our children, why don’t they take their own children so we know there is such a system. They make their children study in private schools," father Altun underscored by pointing the children of HDP seniors. (ILKHA)
