"Our pain is still alive, because the storms of the jewish occupiers continue," Salah said in a statement marking the 50th anniversary of the burning of Masjid Al-Aqsa.

Salah pointed out that the mobs of jewish occupiers stormed Masjid Al-Aqsa on the morning of the first day of Eid al-Adha, noting that the occupation regime is trying to divide the Masjid Al-Aqsa as time and space.

Salah said excavation work under Masjid Al-Aqsa, activities to judaize Jerusalem, and demolitions are also underway.

Salah noted that the Palestinian people have suffered oppression and persecution since the British occupation, added that the Palestinians continue to make all kinds of sacrifices to protect their holy sites and save their land from occupation.

"Masjid Al-Aqsa is in grave danger today," said Salah, pointed out that the peoples of the region also support Jerusalem and its people. "We need to unite our forces."

The Hamas leader said Masjid Al-Aqsa had also torched the intifada fire in the past, and that Al-Aqsa torch would resurrect the Ummah and burn the occupier enemy. (ILKHA)
