A program titled "Life is beautiful with salaah" organized by the Qur'an Generation Platform in Batman, a southeastern province of Turkey, while it was pointed out that the most important reason for the bad situation in the Ummah is that Muslims abandoned performing salaah when the importance of performing salaah was emphasized.

Mehmet Emin Sütçü, one of the general coordinators of the Qur'an Generation Platform, made the opening and salutation speech of the program and shared information about their works.

Sütçü stated that they have carried out many activities in order to understand the Qur'an and the color that the Qur'an gives to the life as Qur'an Generation Platform.

"One of the most important activities of our platform, which has mentioned its name through Qur'an-oriented exams, Qur'an education programs, conferences, seminars and many other selfless studies which we cannot count, is the activities carried out within the context of 'Life Is Beautiful with prayer'," Sütçü said.

"We know that salaah is the greatest truth after îmân [faith]. Not performing salaah is the worship that causes all kinds of troubles to descend upon us like rain. Prayer is a proclamation of servitude, a declaration of obedience in the face of a sublime reign, a sign of submission," he added.

Delivering a speech at the program, researcher-writer Özkan Yaman noted that they live in a century when spirituality has been erased and society's settings were disrupted while pointed out that performing salaah is the only thing to raise Muslims in such century.

"We've been in a century since the spirit was erased. We have been in a century since we lost our membership to people, family, community, religion...  We have been in a century with the settings down. Families, generations, shopping, and education settings are deteriorating."

"Again, we are in a century where morality is indexed in interest and measured in interest. Morality is being destroyed. We have only one weapon that will lift us up and revive us in such a destroyed century, and it is our salaah," Yaman said.

"We have to go behind the salaah and resist this depravement under the flag of the prayer," said Yaman, continued his speech:

"We have to resist this distortion by raising to Miraj. It is our salaah that order us to claim Al-Quds. It is our salaah that order us to stand with our brothers in Arakan, Syria, Sudan, Libya, Tunis, Pakistan, and all other Muslims brothers along stand with Mecca and Medina."

"We stand against injustice, exploitation, and hypocrisy in this society, and our salaah ordering us. Salaah also ordering us to strive to prevent the young people of this society from falling into immorality, prostitution, gambling, and drugs.

"Our salaah [prayer] commands us to teach the morals, manners, and chastity of our children. Our prayer commands us to do all our work according to the Qur'an and Sunnah. If our salaah does not command, there is a problem with that prayer. Believe me, a prayer, which is performed as a necessity will heal our family, our youth, our minds, and our remembrance." (ILKHA)
