Calling on citizens to duly respond at the polls to those who see the renewal of the mayoral election in Istanbul as an opportunity to slander Turkey and smear the Turkish democracy, President Erdoğan drew attention to the Turkish nation’s unity and solidarity as well as its commitment to its flag, adhan and homeland as the factors that have enabled it to overcome all the attacks it has faced so far.
