After the mosque massacre last week in which 50 people were martyred, El Noor and Linwood mosques were reopened to worship together with Friday prayers in Christchurch, New Zealand.

A commemoration program was held across the country for those martyred in the terrorist attack.

After the adhan, two minutes of silence was held in order to respect the victims of terrorism.

The New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, who was praised for her rhetoric, measures, and approaches to Muslim citizens who were victims of terrorism after the terrorist attack, attended the Friday prayer in Hagley Park in Christchurch and wore a headscarf.

Beginning with the hadith in her short speech before the prayer, Jacinda Ardern said, "According to the Muslim faith, the Prophet Mohammed - Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam (peace be upon him) - said, 'The believers in their mutual kindness, compassion and sympathy are just like one body.
