HUDA PAR not to takes part in coming elections

Pointing out that they have decided not to participate in the local elections on March 31, 2019, Mahmud Şahin, vice president of HUDA PAR and head of election affairs, underlined that this decision is not a boycott decision.

Şahin, who said that the material negative effects will impact on achieved at the point of reaching the planned targets, noted that they would move on with more effective policy.

Şahin stated that they have participated in the previous elections and said, "As HÜDA PAR, we went to the political scene in 2012 with the slogan 'Honest Politics Real Justice'. In compliance with the legal organization requirement, we took part in the local elections of March 30, 2014, partially in certain cities and districts; and took part in the general elections held on June 7, 2015, with the independent candidates we supported in certain provinces."

"Finally, we have participated on June 24 general election with independent candidates in Diyarbakır and Batman, and with our party logo in other provinces," he said.

Şahin stated that the opinion that the election will leave a negative impact in the material sense. "We believe that entering a new election in terms of the current situation of our choice experiences and organizations will have a material negative impact on the completion of our organizations and the achievement of the planned targets."

Şahin added that this decision was taken as a result of long-term consultations with the party organizations.
