Head of Religious Affairs [Diyanet] Dr. Ali Erbaş stated that they started a new campaign for Yemen under the title of "Do not remain silent to Yemen".

With the Turkiye's Presidency of Religious Affairs and Diyanet Foundation has launched a relief campaign for Yemen, which has faced one of the world's biggest hunger crises due to a war that lasted for nearly 4 years.

Speaking at the introductory meeting of the campaign held under the title of "Do not remain silent to Yemen, Erbas reminded that the Turkish Diyanet Foundation has provided aid to the needy people in Yemen up to 8.5 million Turkish Liras so far.

"We are launching a new campaign with the title of 'do not remain silent to Yemen'. We invite our nation together to mobilize the humanity to carry the burden of conscience more powerfully," Erbaş said.

Erbaş stated that citizens can donate through "bagis.tdv.org " website as well as through text message by typing "YEMEN" and send it to 5601 that will cost only 10 Turkish Liras.

In addition, all mosques around Turkiye will contribute to gathering aid for Yemen said the directorate office. (ILKHA)
