Adana Coordinatorship of Families initiative for the people victimized by Feb. 28 and FETO judiciary, paid a visit to the family of Enver Kaplan who has been held for 20 years with the plots of FETO judiciary because of his Islamic sensitivity.

Kaplan's sick and old parents could not hold their tears during the visit and ask: "Why does the president not hear our voices? Isn't this cruelty enough anymore?"

Welcomed by 70-years-old Kamile Kaplan and 82-years-old Ahmet Kaplan, parents of Islamic prisoner Enver Kaplan, who reside in Adana's Yüreğir district, the initiative representatives listened to the problems encountered by the family and took notes. It was learned that Enver Kaplan's mother Kamile Kaplan is suffering from lung cancer.

The initiative representatives shared their activities and effort with the family in order for the Islamic prisoners to be released.

"There are people who have been imprisoned for 20-25 years because of their Islamic activities"

Speaking on behalf of initiative Adana branch during the visit, Orhan Erkuş and legal adviser of initiative attorney Hakan Özbay drew attention to the unlawful penalties given to Islamic prisoners, who imprisoned for 20-25 years because of their Islamic activities.

Stating that thousands of people were sentenced with fabricated and bogus evidence during the Feb. 28 process, the initiative officials expressed their demand is justice for the Yusufies [Islamic prisoners].

Noting that thousands of judiciary member linked to FETO were dismissed from duty after the July 15 coup attempt, the initiative representatives underlined that the decisions given by those judges should be reviewed again.

"My son was abducted by FETO liked police and sentenced by FETO linked judges"

Elderly mother Kamile Kaplan explained that her son, who was kidnapped by the FETO police in the nineties, was shot with a gun, tortured for days in the countryside, and then arrested and sentenced in a process based on completely fictitious prepared by FETO linked police and judiciary.

Elderly mother Kaplan said her son had no other crime but to teach the Qur'an in the mosque. "We have spent 20 years suffering in front of the prisons to see our son and both of us are suffering from various diseases," she added.

"Isn't this persecution enough?"

Saying that she is suffering from lung cancer caused by deep sorrow, the elderly mother called on government authorities to end this persecution. "Why does the President not hear our voice? Is he not a father too? Isn't this persecution enough?" she asked.

The Kaplan family pointed out that the injustice they experienced was a FETO conspiracy, demanded that the judgments of the judges who were prosecuted as members of the FETO terrorist organization to be invalidated and their son to be released.

Reminding that FETO linked police and judges, who conspired against his son, have been prisoned one by one, father Ahmet Kaplan expressed his only demand is to see his son at home before he passes away.

Who is Enver Kaplan?

Enver Kaplan is one of the victims who has been imprisoned for 20 years on the plots and conspiracies of Feb. 28 and FETO judiciary because of his Islamic activities.

Police took him from the mosque, where he was teaching Qur'an, was shot by his leg, tortured for days in the countryside. Kaplan was later taken to the police station after seeing by a nearby shepherd right before he was planned to be executed.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment for crimes he did not commit and has been in prison for 20 years.

The police officers who kidnapped Kaplan at that time, the judges and prosecutors who punished him, are now under arrest on the grounds that they are the member of FETO. (ILKHA)
